Kiloh Associates originated in 1975 and at that time the practice had offices in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Elgin. There followed a reorganisation in 1979 when Ian Kiloh took over as sole Partner with the Practice renamed under Kiloh and Associates with a sole office in Glasgow. In 1986 due to increased workload in the area, a sub-office was opened in Greenock. In 1990, a further reorganisation of practice took place with the appointment of two more partners, Bill Linn and John Rose, and an expansion into new premises in Glasgow under the title of Kiloh Associates. The partnership was transformed to a limited company in 1993 with the partners becoming directors and Kiloh Associates being retained as the trading name of Kiloh Associates Ltd. In 2016 the company was purchased following the retirement of Jim McLaren, Stuart Burke was appointed as sole director of the firm.
